See
- Downtown Nyack is also charming to walk or drive around. There are quaint buildings on its tree-lined streets. This strip is in a gorgeous area overlooking the Hudson River and Tappan Zee Bridge. Every year, three street fairs are conducted; booths are set up along main street, and some of the connecting side streets, selling jewelry, clothing, handbags, artwork, sculptures, and more. When these street fairs are not occurring, you can shop, eat, and drink. Shopping extends from clothing to nutrition food stores to art collections. The themes of the various restaurants range from American style to Cajun style to Mexican style. Pasta Amore, Bourbon Street, and Black Bear Saloon are all excellent restaurants, directly on Main St. Nightlife on this street is always fun, no matter what night of the week! The restaurants turn into bars (21 and older) around 10PM stay open until 4AM.
